Standard Hardware

DAIT provides each customer with

  • A state-standard desktop or laptop workstation
  • Printers allocated according to office size

Lifecycled at no extra cost

  • Included with the MOU is workstation replacement approximately every 4 years at no extra cost to the DA office.
  • Printers are lifecycled according to a formula.
  • Occasionally, an office will want to keep a printer beyond what DAIT considers its useful life. In these cases, the printer may be transferred to the county's IT department, which is then responsible for supporting and maintaining it.
  • Network hardware tends to be a bit more resilient and is typically not replaced during every lifecycle. Changes to network security, connectivity with your county government's network, etc., may require changes to DA Network hardware outside the normal lifecycle schedule.
