Law Enforcement Access to PROTECT Data
Authorized law enforcement users in Wisconsin have the ability to view information from the district attorney's case management system, PROTECT, through the eTIME system, a secure website hosted by the state Department of Justice.
With the exception of victim and witness names, the same PROTECT data currently uploaded to the DA's Inter-County Query, is also uploaded to eTime. Juvenile case and person information is uploaded only from cases the DA office has filed with the courts (public information). Adult information is uploaded whether the DA office has filed a case or not.
